Spring/Summer Reminders

As the Spring season comes to an end and the Summer season comes upon us, we felt this would be an appropriate time to remind residents and owners of some rules and guidelines that help to ensure the safety of all residents and continued enjoyment of our community:
Common Areas:
The Common Areas of the community exist for the benefit and enjoyment of all residents and owners.  We encourage all residents to take an interest in the community by picking up trash they might encounter and reporting any items in need of repair.  Additionally, we ask that children be supervised by parents and that parents advise their children of appropriate conduct in common areas.  Please note, patios and HVAC units are considered private property and damage to these areas are Unit Owner’s responsibility.
Cooking Devices:
This community must respect the Fairfax County Fire Prevention Code Sections F-320.1 and F-320.3.  These codes were adopted in order to promote the safety and wellbeing of the residents and owners.  The codes are summarized below:
F-320.1/F-320.3: No charcoal cooker, brazier, hibachi or grill or any gasoline or other flammable liquid or liquefied petroleum gas-fired stove or similar device shall be ignited, used, or stored on balconies or within 15 feet of any multi-dwelling unit building.
Pets must be leashed or carried and under the control of a responsible person at all times.  Owners are responsible for removing pet waste and placing them in the designated pet waste stations located throughout the community.  Additionally, damage to property or injury to persons or other animals is the responsibility of the pet owner.
