Daily Update on Arborist and Brick Work Underway

As previously mentioned in daily Announcements, there are significant contractor activities ongoing throughout the community.

Please remove vehicles from IMPACTED AREAS between 7:30am to 7pm.  Cars should be relocated to OPEN unreserved parking spots during this timeframe each day.  Be mindful of any signs restricting parking.  If your vehicle is not moved, it will be subject to relocation via towing.  We would like to avoid towing at all costs.  We will continue to place signs around the property to help residents understand the daily parking restrictions.

 When returning vehicles back to parking spots with new brick work, please park slightly back from the curb.

Current Guidance on Expected Impacted Areas

Wednesday (July 2nd)

  • Residents can return to their reserved spots 29 to 40 after 7pm today. PLEASE make sure your vehicle is back a bit from the curb to allow a sealing process on the bricks on Thursday (July 3rd).  Cars can remain in these reserved spots on Thursday so long as they are not overhanging the curb.
  • No parking in spots 41 and 72 through 81 overnight.

Thursday (July 3rd)

  • No parking in spots 41 and 72 through 81 until 7pm. Keep vehicles slightly parked back from the curb when returning.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 214, 215, 233 and 234 (near Northern Neck Building 1577).
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 256 through 264 on Ashgrove House Lane from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • Remove cars from unreserved spots 108 to 119 on Northern Neck Drive from 7:30am-7pm. It is extremely important any cars parked overnight are removed from these spots to allow the arborists to remove large trees from the back of the property.

Monday (July 7th), Tuesday (July 8th), and Wednesday (July 9th)

  • Remove cars from unreserved spots 83 through 87 on Northern Neck Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 157 through 169 and 170 through 181 on Leeds Castle Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • Given inclement weather precluded arborist work to start on July 2nd, we are still waiting for the Arborist to communicate impacted areas of Northern Neck Drive. We hope to have more information by 5pm Thursday (July 3rd).

Thursday (July 10th) and Friday (July 11th)

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 129 through 143 and 144 through 156 from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 through 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

Saturday (July 12th)

  • No parking in Handicap spots 190 through 196 and unreserved spots 197 through 204, including the EV Chargers. There will be no charging permitted between 7:30am to 7pm on Saturday July 12th.

Monday (July 14th), Tuesday July 15th, and Wednesday July 16th

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 182 to 189 (Monday only) from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 205 through 215 and 233 through 243 from 7:30am-7pm.

 

Please set a reminder to check the Westwood Village Condominiums website each day for updated information and instructions as work progresses.    If you will not be in town and are planning to leave a car on property, please call Property Management directly or submit an inquiry through the Westwood Village website so that Property Management can help you identify where to park prior to your travel.  During July, the best unreserved spots to park in are 124 to 128 and 216 to 232.

  • Week of July 7th– Northern Neck Drive Side of Building 1571, most Buildings/Parking on Leeds Castle, and Northern Neck Buildings 1500 to 1547
  • Saturday, July 12th– Unreserved and Handicap parking spaces 190 to 204 on Northern Neck Drive
  • Week of July 14th– Remaining Buildings on Leeds Castle and Northern Neck Drive Buildings 1567, 1573, 1577, and 1583
