July 3rd Update on Arborist and Brick Work

As previously mentioned in daily Announcements, there are significant contractor activities ongoing throughout the community.

Please remove vehicles from IMPACTED AREAS between 7:30am to 7pm.  Cars should be relocated to OPEN unreserved parking spots during this timeframe each day.  Be mindful of any signs restricting parking.  If your vehicle is not moved, it will be subject to relocation via towing.  We would like to avoid relocation at all costs.  We will continue to place signs around the property to help residents understand the daily parking restrictions.

When returning vehicles back to parking spots with new brick work, please park slightly back from the curb until further notified.

Current Guidance on Expected Impacted Areas

Thursday (July 3rd) to Sunday (July 6th)

  • As of the posting time of this announcement, residents can use all spots on property in accordance with regular community rules, except unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • For spots 41 and 72 through 81, please park slightly back from the curb on SUNDAY NIGHT to allow for the sealing of the bricks to be finalized on Monday morning (July 7th).

Monday (July 7th), Tuesday (July 8th), and Wednesday (July 9th)

  • Remove cars from unreserved spots 83 through 87 on Northern Neck Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 157 through 169 and 170 through 181 on Leeds Castle Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • Weather permitting, on Monday, significant tree pruning work will take place on Northern Neck Drive primarily in front of Buildings 1500, 1506, 1510, 1516, 1520, 1526, 1530, 1536, 1556, 1546, 1550, and 1540.  If you plan to have your car in reserved spots in front of those buildings during the day, please move your car to the unreserved spots along the soundwall on Northern Neck to allow the trees to be pruned.  Work is expected to start a little after 8am.
  • Weather permitting, on Monday, trees in front of and to the side of Building 1547 Northern Neck Drive (tagged with blue ribbons) will be pruned.
  • Weather permitting, on Monday, a tree (tagged with red ribbon) in front of building 1537 will be removed.  We will contact any residents impacted directly with a limited time their parking spaces may need to be used for the tree removal/safety of the vehicles.

Thursday (July 10th) and Friday (July 11th)

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 129 through 143 and 144 through 156 from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 through 105 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • On July 10th, Ashgrove House Lane Buildings 8846, 8840, 8836, and 8830 may be impacted if utilities/water management approve the removal of the tree stumps from July 3rd’s tree removal.  Keep monitoring for parking impacts.

Saturday (July 12th)

  • No parking in Handicap spots 190 through 196 and unreserved spots 197 through 204, including the EV Chargers. There will be no charging permitted between 7:30am to 7pm on Saturday July 12th.

Monday (July 14th), Tuesday July 15th, and Wednesday July 16th

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 182 to 189 (Monday only) from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 205 through 215 and 233 through 243 from 7:30am-7pm.

Please set a reminder to check the Westwood Village Condominiums website each day for updated information and instructions as work progresses.    If you will not be in town and are planning to leave a car on property, please call Property Management directly or submit an inquiry through the Westwood Village website so that Property Management can help you identify where to park prior to your travel.  During July, the best unreserved spots to park in are now 106 to 128 and 216 to 232.
