Parking Reminders – VISITOR Parking

To All Residents –

This is a friendly reminder for VISITOR parking:

  • The VISITOR Parking at the front of the community (Ashgrove House Lane) and near the clubhouse (Northern Neck Drive) is shared VISITOR parking with the townhomes and is for short-term parking only.
  • Residents are NOT permitted to park in the VISITORS spots, even with a VISITOR hangtag in the car.  Cars displaying resident stickers and VISITOR hangtags will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
  • One VISITOR spot near the clubhouse is also restricted to Pool Management during certain hours/days of the week, as noted on a sign at the front of the parking space.  VISITORS, even with a valid VISITOR hangtag are subject to towing at the owner’s expense, when parked in the Pool Management spot during the hours designated on the sign.  Please make sure to read all signs in the VISITOR parking areas to prevent your car from being towed.
  • A VISITOR hangtag is not intended to allow residents to have a third car on property full-time.  The community simply does not have the space for this.

We know that there has been a lot of movement of cars / concern about parking during our Arborist and Brick work.  Please note that there are currently limited spots being impacted by any work for Friday and Saturday.   Additionally, cars generally can return to impacted areas from 7pm to 7:30am (overnight), once the contractors have left for the evening.  Therefore, there should be sufficient parking for residents.

Given a planned project to repave the community later this year, the Board will be discussing Parking over the next several months to evaluate any changes needed to our current parking rules, including location of visitor, handicap, reserved, and unreserved parking throughout the community.  If you have any recommendations/concerns surrounding parking that you would like the Board to consider, please feel free to submit a report/inquiry through the Property Management website at westwoodvillageuoa.com.
