Reminder – Continuing Property Maintenance Week of October 5th

To all Owners / Residents:

As announced several weeks ago, a contractor is on property this week to finish work previously announced related to the following:

  • External brick, railing, and stairs repairs at the front of each building
  • Sidewalk repairs

Locations with Significant Work this Upcoming Week

  • Side of Northern Neck Building 1583 (to finalize sidewalk replacement)
  • Side of Leeds Castle Building 1592 (to finalize sidewalk replacement and drainage work)
  • Mailbox area near Leeds Castle Building 1597 (to remove dead grass)
  • Ashgrove House Lane (to refurbish brick/railings/stairs)

Over the next several days, please mind the cones and watch your step.

Last week, we had a resident walk on and damage wet concrete within 1 hour of it being poured, ignoring “Do Not Cross” tape, cones, and signs.  We also had residents move cones/signs blocking unreserved parking spots needed for the contractor’s work.  These cones/signs are in place for safety reasons, to protect residents and vehicles, as well as to protect the investment the CUOA is making to maintain the property.  Residents not adhering to signage and causing damage will be subject to legal proceedings to recover damages.  Residents ignoring parking instructions will be subject to towing in order to prevent delays in the contractor’s work.  Please adhere to all signs and avoid areas blocked off to allow the remaining work to continue without issue.

Thank you for your cooperation as we continue to perform maintenance around the property.
