July 8th Update on Arborist and Brick Work

As previously mentioned in daily Announcements, there are significant contractor activities ongoing throughout the community.  ***The brick work is moving fast this week so please monitor updated guidance closely.***

Please remove vehicles from IMPACTED AREAS between 7:30am to 7pm.  Resident cars should be relocated to OPEN unreserved parking spots during this timeframe each day, NOT VISITOR SPOTS.  Be mindful of any signs restricting parking.  If your vehicle is not moved, it will be subject to relocation via towing.  We would like to avoid relocation at all costs.  We will continue to place signs around the property to help residents understand the daily parking restrictions.  During July, the best unreserved spots to park in are 106 to 128 and 216 to 232.

When returning vehicles back to parking spots overnight with new brick work, please park slightly back from the curb until further notified.

Current Guidance on Expected Impacted Areas

Tuesday (July 8th) Update from this Morning

  • Residents can now return to using unreserved spots 83 through 87 on Northern Neck Drive.
  • Around 6pm, Residents can return to using reserved spots 129 through 135, 157 through 169, and 170 through 181 on Leeds Castle, once all contractors and their equipment have left the area.  Please park slightly back from the curb when returning.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

Wednesday (July 9th)

  • NEW Remove cars and or park back from the curb for reserved spots 129 through 135 by 7:30am to allow brick work to complete early on Wednesday morning in front of those spots.
  • Remove cars from reserved spots 136 through 156 and 182 through 189 on Leeds Castle Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Weather permitting, trees to the side of Building 1547 Northern Neck Drive (tagged with blue ribbons) will be pruned. We will contact any residents impacted directly with a limited time their parking spaces may be impacted.  Reserved spots 41 and 72 and unreserved spot 73 will likely be impacted starting around 8am.
  • Weather permitting, a tree (tagged with red ribbon) in front of building 1537 will be removed.  We will contact any residents impacted directly with a limited time their parking spaces may need to be used for the tree removal/safety of the vehicles. Northern Neck Drive reserved Spots 33, 34, and 35 will likely be impacted.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 to 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

Thursday (July 10th) and Friday (July 11th)

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 136 through 156 and 182 through 189 on Leeds Castle Drive from 7:30am-7pm.
  • Weather permitting and dependent on the Water Authority, remove cars from reserved spots 256 through 262 on Ashgrove House Lane from 8:00am-4pm.  Stump removal will take place for trees cut down last week. (July 10thonly)
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 through 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

Saturday (July 12th)

  • No parking in Handicap spots 190 through 196 and unreserved spots 197 through 204, including the EV Chargers. There will be no charging permitted between 7:30am-7pm on Saturday July 12th.  (Please note this work may accelerate into Friday, July 11th.)
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 through 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

Monday (July 14th), Tuesday July 15th, and Wednesday July 16th

  • Remove cars from reserved spots 205 through 215 and 233 through 243 from 7:30am-7pm.
  • No parking in unreserved spots 100 through 105 on Northern Neck Drive.

 Please set a reminder to check the Westwood Village Condominiums website each day for updated information and instructions as work progresses.    If you will not be in town and are planning to leave a car on property, please call Property Management directly or submit an inquiry through the Westwood Village website so that Property Management can help you identify where to park prior to your travel.  Again, during July, the best unreserved spots to park in are now 106 to 128 and 216 to 232.

 NOTE:  All Parking rules remain in effect.  Therefore, please ensure you are parking as a resident in your reserved spot or the unreserved spots around the property.  Residents are not permitted to park in the Visitor parking section. Visitors can only park, using Visitor hangtags, in the Visitor short-term spots at the front of the community.
